Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PadelLock (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use PadelLock.

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other players, or post unlawful or offensive content.
• Attempt to access data that is not yours, or interfere with the security of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or to scrape data without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the app or our servers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

You keep ownership of the content you create (profiles, messages, games, tournaments). You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content as needed to run the Service. You are responsible for the content you post and for having the right to share it.

PadelLock offers optional paid upgrades (such as Supporter and Tournament Creator) through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You manage and cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not within PadelLock.
• Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. We do not process card payments for in-app purchases.
• One-off purchases (such as a lifetime upgrade) are granted to your account and can be restored on the same store account.

Clubs may purchase paid promotions for their courts. These payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to the specific terms shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes.

Any cost shown for a game or court (for example, splitting a booking four ways) is informational only. PadelLock does not collect, hold, or transfer money between players; settling up is between you and the people you play with.

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, notice in the app.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. PadelLock is a tool for organising padel — it does not guarantee court availability, game outcomes, or the conduct of other players. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
